It's a Puzzle Day!

Today in class we had to create different types of puzzles. It was awesome! I believe that this is a great way to give students the oppurtunity to learn new words and to use them later in their assignments. I like this site it is very easy and simple to use. I think even the students will be able to use it on their own to create their own puzzles. Online puzzles are very educational and interactive it gets the kids excited and makes them stay on task. It also helps students learn new words and practice their vocabulary skills.

WebQuest

Webquest is like another webpage or website that is use for an educational objective. Our assignment was to design one to our preference of what we want our students to learn at a certain grade level. We chose to do the different religions around the world. I like this assignment it was very similar to writing lesson plans, but just using the computer and putting everything online so that it is visible to everyone. I just had a hard time linking other webpages until today. I would implement webquest to use for every subject maybe when students do teachback they can use webquest instead of powerpoint, I believe it is much more easier.

Timeline

Today in class we has an assignment to go into teachnology.com and develop a time line of anything that we feel that is important to us. I decided to do a short time line on My Life and special events that happen in my life. This was exciting and really easy to do. The software was great very easy to use and not complicated. The only thing that I wish was different was the graphics and wished it had more choices to choose from. I would use time lines for any subject especially for study guides so that students can easily study and it will help them memorize important dates. I actually really like teachnology better than xtimeline. It is much more simpler and not that complicated the only problem with teachonology is that we are limited in putting events in our time line. All in all I like teachnology better than xtimeline.
